“Oscars 2026 Nomination Time: How to Watch on Streaming and TV”

The nominations for the 98th Annual Oscars will be revealed on Thursday morning across various streaming platforms and broadcast television. The announcement will be made live from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Science’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles by Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman.

This year, there will be a new category for Best Casting, and another new category, Best Stunt Design, will be introduced for the 100th Annual Academy Awards in 2028 for films released in 2027.

The nominations will be announced in two parts, with the first round at 8:30 ET/5:30 a.m. PT and the second set at 8:41 a.m. PT/5:41 a.m. PT. You can stream the nominations on various online platforms like Oscar.com, Oscars.org, and the Oscars’ YouTube channel. Additionally, you can watch the livestream on the Academy’s TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.

For those who prefer traditional television, the 2026 Oscar nominations will also air live on ABC’s Good Morning America and stream on ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu.

Front-runners for the Best Picture category include Hamnet, Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, Sinners, Sentimental Value, Train Dreams, and Wicked: For Good. In the Animated Feature Film category, KPop Demon Hunters and Zootopia 2 are among the favorites.

Excitingly, each category will have five nominees, except for Best Picture, which will have 10 nominees. The 2026 Oscars ceremony, hosted by Conan O’Brien, is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, airing live on ABC-TV and streaming simultaneously on Hulu.
