Senior Cadwalader litigators depart during Hogan Lovells merger discussions
Two experienced litigation partners have recently left Cadwalader in the US, as the firm gets ready to merge with Hogan Lovells. Danielle Tully, who has been a partner at Cadwalader for an impressive 17 years and even co-chaired its global litigation and IP practice, has decided to make the move to Orrick. Meanwhile, Jonathan Watkins, the former head of Cadwalader’s corporate and financial services litigation team, is gearing up to join Proskauer.
It can be quite a transition when senior professionals make moves like this, especially when it involves such well-respected law firms. With these changes on the horizon, it will be interesting to see how both Cadwalader and its rival firms continue to navigate the legal landscape.
