Timberwolves Gain Two Additional National TV Games in Spring Schedule
Even before their thrilling game against the Spurs on Saturday night, it’s clear that Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves are a hit with NBA’s national broadcast partners. Just recently, two more national TV games were added to their schedule, bringing their total to 30 games for the season.
Fans can now catch the Wolves in action on April 2nd against the East-leading Pistons in Detroit on Prime Video at 6 p.m. CT. On April 10th, the Wolves will face off against the Houston Rockets, with a new start time of 8:30 p.m. CT on Prime Video, and will also be available on FanDuel Sports Network North.
The Timberwolves started the season with an impressive 28 national TV games across ESPN/ABC, NBC/Peacock, and Prime Video, tying them with Houston for the second most in the league. This would have been hard to believe for the franchise in the past, but they’ve made big strides.
So far this season, 12 of the Wolves’ 43 games have been televised on national platforms. But the frequency of national games will increase in the second half of the season. With these new additions, 18 of the final 39 games will be available to watch nationally, making it easier for fans to catch their favorite team in action.
Despite their national TV appearances, the Wolves have only secured 4 wins out of 8 games. But they continue to impress and entertain fans with their exciting gameplay. Stay tuned for more Timberwolves’ matchups coming soon.
