Paramount+ Subscription Price Increase by 30% on January 15th

If you haven’t signed up for Paramount+ yet, now might be the time to consider it, especially if you’re a fan of UFC. The subscription price is set to go up by 30% on January 15th, so locking in the current rates before then could save you some cash.

For $59.99 a year, you can get all the numbered UFC events, Fight Night events, Contender Series cards, new seasons of The Ultimate Fighter, and Zuffa Boxing with a Paramount+ Essential subscription. They’ve also added a bunch of past events and fights to the service, so you’ll have plenty to watch. And let’s not forget about all the other TV and movie content Paramount+ offers if that’s your thing.

But come January 15th, that $59.99 price tag will be a thing of the past. The annual subscription will increase to $89.99 per year, which is a $30 jump. The monthly prices for Essential and Premium plans will also be going up, so you’ll want to lock in the current rates if you can.

So, what’s the difference between Essential and Premium? It boils down to ads. Essential is ad-supported, meaning you’ll see ads during on-demand content. Premium eliminates ads for on-demand shows and movies, but you’ll still see ads during live sports like UFC regardless of your plan.

Our suggestion? Opt for the Essential plan to save some money and make sure to sign up for an annual subscription before the price increase on January 15th. This will secure your current rate until 2027, giving you some peace of mind as prices continue to rise. And hey, remember when being a UFC fan under ESPN cost $93 a month? Times have changed, that’s for sure.

We look forward to seeing you on January 24th for the return of UFC 324, featuring Justin Gaethje vs. Paddy Pimblett for the interim lightweight title. Be sure to take advantage of these subscription tips to make the most of the UFC on Paramount+ era.
