Texas Rangers 2026 Season Schedule on NBC/Peacock: Three Games Scheduled
Exciting news for Texas Rangers fans! During the 2026 season, you can catch the team on a new network for a few games. Thanks to a media rights agreement announced by MLB in 2025, NBC/Peacock is now the home of Sunday Night Baseball. The schedule for these Sunday night games was just released, and the Rangers will be featured in a trio of matchups. Circle your calendars for May 3 against the Detroit Tigers, May 24 against the Los Angeles Angels, and June 14 against the Boston Red Sox.
NBC, gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, has a rich history with baseball. While it hasn’t been in the baseball broadcasting game recently, the network carried games from 1939 through 1989. They were part of the short-lived Baseball Network with ABC in 1994 and ’95 and also aired playoff games from 1996 through 2000. Exciting stuff!
If you’re eager for the action to start, mark your calendar for March 26, when the defending two-time champion Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first game of the season. And don’t worry about missing a game – the 25 Sunday night games will mostly air on NBC, with a few on the new NBC Sports Network. Plus, you can stream them all on Peacock.
The first Sunday Night Baseball game on NBC will kick off on April 12, with more to follow in May after the NBA playoffs wrap up. Get ready to cheer on the Texas Rangers and enjoy some prime-time baseball action!
