Tuesday Reviews: The Life Of Chuck, Avatar: Fire & Ash, Stranger Things
l. He rented Marty Supreme and enjoyed it, noting it’s more sports drama than anything. Then he went to the theaters to see the latest installment of Avatar, noting he didn’t really like it. This one felt like it’s run time, although visually it was incredible and he’s never seen anything like it. He’d be happy to be done after this one. Then he saw The Housemaid and didn’t anticipate that he would enjoy it, but he did. His wife loved it after reading the book. He gave it 3.5/5. Lastly, he finished Stranger Things. Overall, the series scores a 4.5/5, the final season gets a 4/5, and the finale episode gets a 3.5/5.
Eddie watched a bunch of old Christmas favorites, but he also watched The Holiday for the first time and he LOVED it. He thinks it’s such a good holiday rom com. He gave it 4/5 movie trailers.
Morgan watched Triple Frontier on Netflix because of its star-studded cast. She wanted to like it, it reminded her of the A-Team in ways. Ultimately the show made her mad a few times, she gave it 3/5 guns. She also watched Merv on Amazon Prime and loved it, she also admitted it made her tear up. She gave it 4/5 dog vacations.
Lunchbox watched Christmas Chronicles on Netflix, but thought it was pretty stupid. He gave it 2/5 sleigh rides. He also watched Deep Cover on Amazon Prime, which he thought was so fun and absolutely loved it. He gave it 4/5 comedy acts.
