Big East Games Scheduled for Saturday featuring Trio of Matchups

This weekend, fans of BIG EAST Men’s Basketball are in for a treat with three exciting games on the schedule for Saturday. The action starts at noon ET with Providence taking on St. John’s on FOX, while Villanova goes head-to-head against Butler on TNT. Later in the day, Xavier faces off against DePaul at 2 p.m. ET on FS1.

For Saturday’s games, the Providence vs. St. John’s match will be called by Tim Brando and Donny Marshall on FOX, with Villanova vs. Butler featuring Brian Anderson and Grant Hill on TNT. The Xavier vs. DePaul game will be brought to viewers by Noah Reed and Dickey Simpkins on FS1. It’s going to be a full day of basketball action that fans won’t want to miss!

Looking ahead to Sunday, Creighton will play Seton Hall at noon on Peacock, followed by a matchup between Marquette and UConn at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. Sunday’s games promise even more exciting plays and tight competition, with Justin Kutcher and Tarik Turner calling the Creighton vs. Seton Hall game, and John Fanta and Donny Marshall covering the Marquette vs. UConn game.

Also, starting this season, the BIG EAST Conference will be providing public reports on the availability of student-athletes in men’s basketball games. Schools will be submitting availability reports three hours before tipoff, designating players as “questionable” or “out.” These reports will be posted on the BIG EAST website throughout the 2025-26 season, offering fans insight into the status of their favorite players.
