Tiva Fans Rally for Spinoff Revival with New Year’s Eve Billboard
Fans of the popular Paramount+ show NCIS: Tony and Ziva were disappointed when the series was canceled on December 19. The show had gained huge success, breaking records within the NCIS franchise, with 93 million views of the first trailer and over 371 million minutes viewed on Nielsen streaming charts after its September debut.
In response to the cancellation, fans organized a GoFundMe campaign, led by @NCISTivaFans, which raised over $3000 to put up a Times Square billboard on New Year’s Eve. The billboard features a QR code that leads to a website where fans can learn more about the campaign to bring back the show and reunite the beloved characters Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, played by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, for a second season.
The passion and dedication of NCIS: Tony and Ziva fans are truly inspiring, and their efforts to reverse the cancellation of the show are a testament to the strong connection viewers can feel to their favorite series.
