On Christmas Day, NFL games streamed on Netflix and Amazon broke viewership records, drawing in millions of viewers. The Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings game on Netflix became the most-streamed NFL game in U.S. history, with an average of 27.5 million viewers and peaking at over 30 million. This surpassed last year’s Christmas game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans on Netflix.

In the night game on Amazon Prime Video, the Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs matchup averaged 21.06 million viewers, setting a new record for the platform. The audience peaked at 22.9 million during the second quarter. The first game of the day between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders drew an average of 19.9 million viewers.

These figures include viewership from local market broadcasts and NFL+ via mobile or web platforms. The games were also streamed globally, reaching over 200 countries and territories with millions tuning in. Additionally, Netflix’s “NFL Christmas Gameday” generated over 632 million social impressions worldwide, with Snoop Dogg’s halftime show alone garnering over 100 million impressions.
