‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Revival Trailer: Cast Reunites for Upcoming Series

Sacramento, CA (ABC10) – Fans of “Malcolm in the Middle” will be thrilled to hear that a revival is on the way! The teaser trailer for “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” dropped recently and it looks like we’re in for a treat.

Frankie Muniz is back as Malcolm, and he’s not the only one returning. Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek are also making a comeback as Hal and Lois. Plus, Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield will reprise their roles as Francis and Reese, respectively. Emy Coligado is also back as Piama, Francis’ wife.

Unfortunately, Erik Per Sullivan, who played Dewey, won’t be part of the new series. Actor Caleb Ellsworth-Clark will be stepping into his shoes. In a recent podcast interview, Cranston shared that Sullivan decided not to join the revival because he’s busy pursuing a master’s degree at Harvard.

This new four-episode run comes almost 25 years after the original show aired on Fox. The original series won seven Emmy Awards, so there’s a lot to look forward to in this reboot.
