Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair Premiere Date April 10

Mark your calendars because Malcolm in the Middle is back with a limited series titled “Life’s Still Unfair” premiering on April 10, 2026. The show will be available on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the US, as well as on Disney+ internationally.

In this revival, Malcolm finds himself pulled back into his family dynamics after years of keeping his distance, all because Hal and Lois insist on his presence at their 40th-anniversary celebration. Fans can expect to see familiar faces like Bryan Cranston, Frankie Muniz, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado reprising their original roles.

Joining the returning cast are newcomers Keeley Karsten, Vaughan Murrae, Kiana Madeira, and Caleb Ellsworth-Clark. The limited series is a production of Disney Branded Television, with 20th Television and New Regency on board.

Linwood Boomer, the creator of the original series, is back as a writer and executive producer for the revival. Other executive producers include Cranston, Tracy Katsky, Gail Berman, Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Natalie Lehmann from New Regency. Ken Kwapis is set to direct all four episodes and serve as an executive producer.
