Netflix Ventures into Santa’s Bag
Netflix is getting into the holiday spirit this season with more Christmas content than ever before. From festive original movies like A Christmas Prince to recent hits like Hot Frosty, the streaming giant has something for everyone to enjoy.
If you’re looking for new additions to your holiday watchlist, Netflix has you covered with films like My Secret Santa, Jingle Bell Heist, and Champagne Problems, all jockeying for top spots on the leaderboard alongside nonseasonal content.
And if you’re in the mood to cozy up by the fire, Netflix has you covered with holiday specials and virtual fireplaces to add some warmth to your home, at least metaphorically speaking.
Netflix isn’t alone in the holiday content game, though. The streaming service partners with Hallmark for some films and specials, adding 10 Hallmark productions to its holiday lineup last year. This year, Netflix and Hallmark have signed a multiyear licensing agreement to bring even more holiday magic to viewers.
But Netflix isn’t the only one spreading holiday cheer. The Great American Family network (formerly GAC Family) is also getting in on the action, featuring stars like Candace Cameron Bure and Lori Loughlin in its own lineup of festive programming. From October through January 1, it’s all about the “Great American Christmas” on TV.
So, whether you’re snuggled up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa or looking for some background holiday cheer, Netflix and its partners have you covered with a sleigh full of festive entertainment options this holiday season.
