Peacock Advertisements Before Login: What You Need to Know

If you’re a Peacock subscriber with ads, get ready to see more of them when you log in. Peacock has rolled out Arrival Ads, visible on the profile selection page. NBCUniversal is pretty excited, describing these ads as a chance for advertisers to reach almost all daily users with high-impact visibility.

In simpler terms, NBC calls them “interactive brand moments,” showcasing how tech and storytelling can drive fandom and engagement. Basically, it’s a new way for Peacock to make money and for advertisers to get their products seen. And who knows, it might even push some folks to upgrade to the ad-free version.

Imagine seeing a Capital One ad dominating three-quarters of the login screen. On the left, you’ll find profile photos neatly arranged in a vertical list, while a settings button hangs out in the top-right corner. Presently, the profiles show up in a horizontal row across the screen.

For those on the ad-supported Peacock Premium plan, it costs $10.99 monthly or $109.99 yearly. If you’d rather ditch the ads, the ad-free version is $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year.

NBC Universal is also talking about “Contextual Targeting,” a new tool that uses AI to show relevant ads during live events. They’re also expanding Pause Ads, which displays ads when you hit pause while watching something.

Peacock has had its struggles in 2025, losing $217 million in the third quarter, and no growth in subscribers since the beginning of the year. Despite this, prices were hiked in July, with 41 million paying customers still on board.
