Gumball revival on Hulu renewed early for seasons 3-4

Hulu has exciting news for fans of the animated series, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball! They’ve renewed the show for seasons three and four even before season two has premiered. Created by Ben Bocquelet, this series is a revival of Cartoon Network’s beloved show, The Amazing World of Gumball. The first 20 episodes premiered on Hulu in July, and fans can expect the second season to debut on December 22nd.

Vanessa Brookman, the general manager of International Kids, Animation, and Franchise, shared her enthusiasm for the show, saying, “The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball has proven completely irresistible to families and fans across the globe, making it the easiest of decisions to say an emphatic yes to this new season.” Sarah Fell, senior vice president and studio head at Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, praised the show’s creative team for its success and expressed excitement for delivering even more wonderful weirdness to viewers.

Just like its predecessor, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball follows the adventures of Gumball Watterson, a blue 12-year-old cat, and his 10-year-old adopted goldfish brother, Darwin. The upcoming season promises to take the family on absurd adventures, with wild animals invading the suburbs and a student cult attempting to conduct a yearbook séance.
