Ted Season 2 Premieres on Peacock in March 2026
Mark your calendars, folks! “Ted” Season 2 is hitting Peacock on Thursday, March 5, so get ready to binge all the new episodes at once. This Seth MacFarlane sitcom is back with eight fresh episodes, 26 months after its first season debut on January 11, 2024, that quickly became Peacock’s most popular original show.
The new season of “Ted” takes us 19 years back in time, to 1993, where we find Ted out of the limelight and living with his buddy John, now played by Max Burkholder, in a Boston home with his family. Even though Ted might not always make the best decisions, when it counts, he’s there to support his friends and family.
Joining the cast are Scott Grimes, Alanna Ubach, and Giorgia Whigham, who play John’s parents and cousin, respectively. If you’re curious to peek at the upcoming season, check out some first-look photos below, and keep an eye out for the trailer when it’s released.
Exciting things are in store for Peacock, as a direct sequel, “Ted: The Animated Series,” is also in the works. It picks up after “Ted 2” and brings back familiar faces like Mark Wahlberg, Seth MacFarlane, Jessica Barth, and Amanda Seyfried, whose character is named Sam L. Jackson. No release date has been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
