Jamie-Lynn Sigler portrays doctor with multiple sclerosis on Grey’s Anatomy

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, known for her role in “The Sopranos,” is set to appear on an upcoming episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.” She will play Dr. Laura Kaplan, a urologist living with Multiple Sclerosis. Despite her diagnosis, Dr. Kaplan is described as having a full and fulfilling life and career. This role is particularly poignant for Sigler, who was diagnosed with MS at a young age.

In other casting news, Hugh Laurie, famous for his role in “House,” will star alongside Amy Poehler in a new comedy series on Peacock called “Dig.” The show follows four women working on an archaeological dig in Greece as they uncover a long-buried secret that could change history.
