Margo’s Money Troubles: Release Date and First Look with Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer

Apple TV has just released a sneak peek at the upcoming drama series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” set to premiere on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The show, based on Rufi Thorpe’s best-selling novel of the same name, features Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer in the roles of mother and daughter. The cast also includes Nick Offerman, Nicole Kidman, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Thaddea Graham, Lindsey Normington, Marcia Gay Harden, and Rico Nasty.

The official synopsis of the show reads: “A bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama following recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (played by Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.”

The series is produced by A24 and created by David E. Kelley, who also serves as the showrunner and writer. The executive producers include Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Brittany Kahan Ward, Nicole Kidman, Per Saari, Matthew Tinker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rufi Thorpe, Eva Anderson, and Boo Killebrew. Dearbhla Walsh is also involved in the executive production team.
