Pluribus Season 2: Latest Updates on Vince Gilligan’s Apple TV+ Series
Pluribus is the buzz-worthy show created by Vince Gilligan that has fans hooked. The post-apocalyptic sci-fi series made its debut in November 2025 and has received critical acclaim. Even though we’re still eagerly following season 1, fans are already clamoring for more.
Good news for all the Pluribus fans out there – season 2 has been confirmed shortly after the premiere of the series. And Vince Gilligan himself has hinted that he envisions the show lasting for multiple seasons.
So, what’s Pluribus all about? Gilligan put his signature touch on this show, much like he did with Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows local fantasy romance author Carol Sturka (played by Rhea Seehorn) who is one of the few immune to an extraterrestrial virus that creates a hive mind among humans.
While we have confirmation of season 2, there’s no word yet on how many more seasons Pluribus might have. During a recent interview, Gilligan expressed his desire to keep the show running as long as Rhea Seehorn is willing to lead the way.
As for when we can expect season 2 to drop, details are still under wraps. Filming for the upcoming season of Pluribus has not started yet. In the meantime, season 1 consists of a total of nine episodes, each with different intriguing titles.
Just like any good show, the future of Pluribus is still uncertain, but one thing is for sure – fans are in for a wild ride with this captivating series. Stay tuned for more updates as we eagerly await what’s next for Pluribus!
