Paramount+ Renews Taylor Sheridan Show for Season 3
One of Taylor Sheridan’s most beloved TV series, starring Billy Bob Thornton, is making a return for a thrilling Season 3 on Paramount+.
Landman, the critically acclaimed show, has officially been renewed for another season. The announcement came just as the second season was gaining momentum, and fans are thrilled about the news.
Since its debut, Landman has been a massive success, with an average of 15.8 million viewers tuning in for the first season, as reported by THR. The second season is currently airing and is already shaping up to be a huge hit, with its premiere becoming the biggest in Paramount+ history.
Back in 2024, Landman was inspired by the popular Boomtown podcast series and brought to life by creators Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, who also serves as the showrunner. Set in the world of oilfields in West Texas, the series follows Tommy Norris (played by Thornton), a petroleum landman and vice president of operations at an oil company.
The stellar ensemble cast of Landman includes Ali Larter, Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Paulina Chávez, with guest appearances by Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia, and Michael Peña. Behind the scenes, the series was helmed by a team of executive producers including David Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, and others, making it a production by MTV Entertainment Studios. With Season 3 now officially in the works, fans have a lot to look forward to in this gripping series.
