Roofman to Begin Streaming on Paramount+ on Dec. 9

Paramount+ has some exciting news for all of us streaming fans out there! The dark comedy romance film “Roofman,” starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, will be available for streaming on Paramount+ in the United States and Canada starting December 9th.

This movie is based on a true story and follows the journey of Jeffrey Manchester, played by Channing Tatum. Jeffrey is an Army veteran and struggling father who comes up with a unique way to make ends meet – by robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs. This risky behavior earns him the nickname “Roofman.” After a daring escape from prison, he goes on to live secretly inside a Toys ‘R’ Us for six months, all while planning his next move. Things take a turn when he meets Leigh, played by Kirsten Dunst, a divorced mom who is drawn to his undeniable charm. As his double life starts to unravel, a suspenseful game of cat and mouse ensues as his past catches up to him.

“Roofman” made its debut on PVOD on November 11th and has been holding a top 10 spot on Apple’s movie charts for three weeks in a row, which is quite an accomplishment! The film also features a stellar cast including Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage.
