Warriors Update: De’Anthony Melton’s Potential Return Date from ACL Injury

The Golden State Warriors may soon benefit from the return of veteran guard De’Anthony Melton, who has been out of action for over a year due to a torn ACL. According to the team’s recent update, Melton could make his season debut during the Warriors’ upcoming three-game road trip starting on December 4th against the Philadelphia 76ers.

While the Warriors are currently playing a series of home games, Melton has been progressing well and actively participating in practices. Although he won’t be back for the next few games at their home base, Chase Center, Melton has been involved in scrimmages and is gearing up for his comeback.

In the previous season, Melton suffered a devastating ACL injury just a month into play and underwent surgery on December 4, 2024. Following a brief stint with the Brooklyn Nets, he returned to Golden State in the 2025 offseason.

During his time with the Warriors, Melton showcased his skills, averaging 10.3 points on 40.7% shooting from the field and 37.1% from beyond the arc. He also contributed 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.2 steals in 20.2 minutes per game over six appearances.
