Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph Respond to “Landman” Characters Arrest

Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph were in for a surprise when their characters in “Landman” found themselves in trouble with the law in the latest episode. Randolph described the moment as “insane,” saying, “I was reading that like, ‘I’m sorry, I get handcuffed?!’ It was hysterical.”

In this episode, after leading an aerobics class at the nursing home, Angela (Larter) and Ainsley (Randolph) ramp up the party with cocktails, only to be caught by health inspectors for serving alcohol to the elderly residents. Things escalate quickly as Angela fights back against one inspector, while Ainsley trips the other, resulting in both inspectors falling to the ground.

Randolph mentioned that Ainsley’s actions were out of character, but she was willing to do anything to help her mother. The duo ends up in handcuffs and has to call Tommy (played by Billy Bob Thornton) to bail them out.

Larter emphasized the importance of treating elderly individuals with respect and allowing them to enjoy life to the fullest, including having cocktails and dancing. She also highlighted the significance of the residents in Angela’s life, as they bring her joy and fulfillment.

Based on a real-life individual who volunteers at a nursing home, the storyline in “Landman” reflects true stories and brings joy to real people living in similar situations. Despite the characters’ antics, they won’t be banned from the home anytime soon, as co-creator Christian Wallace noted that Angela’s determination will always prevail.

“Landman” is available for streaming on Paramount+, providing viewers with a mix of humor, heartwarming moments, and unexpected twists. Get ready for a wild ride with Angela and Ainsley as they navigate life’s challenges in their unique and endearing way.
