Jalen Hurts discusses Tush Push and Eagles-Bears game roundup from Black Friday broadcast

Jalen Hurts spoke up about the Tush Push during the Eagles-Bears game broadcast, and a bunch of Philadelphia sports legends made surprise appearances, making us all a bit hungry with those sandwich mentions. Not sure about you, but all that talk about food had us reaching for a snack, even if we still don’t know what a wedge buster is.

The Eagles didn’t give their fans much to cheer about in Friday’s game against the Chicago Bears, losing 24-15 for their second consecutive loss.

If you didn’t catch the game but are curious about what went down during the broadcast, here’s a recap of all the highlights:

Before the game even started, all of Philadelphia’s mascots were hanging out for Prime Video’s pregame show. The Phanatic even got into a push-up challenge with former NFL tight end Tony Gonzalez, and Jason Kelce made a quick appearance to hype up the Eagles fans. Malcolm Jenkins, Chase Utley, and Kyle Lowry also shared some messages during the broadcast.

During the game, Prime Video took a trip to Angelo’s, a new Michelin Bib Gourmand establishment, to try and explain the drop-off in the Eagles offense. They pointed out that despite the offensive struggles, the Eagles are still 8-3.

Ben Johnson brought some inspiration from his high school days to his coaching gig in Chicago, and the broadcast even showed a clip from his high school football career.

There was also some mystery around the wedge buster sandwich, which apparently is a huge sandwich made with pizza crust that the winning team gets to eat postgame. Kevin Patullo’s playcalling was under scrutiny as well, with former All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman not holding back in his critique.

The disappointed Eagles fans at the Linc were also heavily featured during the broadcast, with boos ringing down after most offensive plays. And let’s not forget the Tush Push and the interesting commentary it sparked during the game.

Overall, it was a tough loss for the Eagles, but there’s always the next game to look forward to. Stay tuned for more updates on the team’s performance and let’s hope for some better luck in the next game.
