Actor Tony Germano dies at 55 after tragic fall

Tony Germano, a talented Brazilian voice actor known for his work on animated series for Netflix and Nickelodeon, has tragically passed away at the age of 55. Germano, who lent his voice to characters on Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn and Netflix’s Go, Dog, Go!, died following a fatal fall from the roof of his home.

A representative for Germano shared with People, “It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of actor and voice artist Tony Germano on the morning of Wednesday, November 26. Tony suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries.” Germano’s family, friends, and colleagues are currently grieving his loss and respectfully request privacy during this difficult time.

A memorial service to honor Germano’s life took place at the Bosque da Paz Cemetery in Vargem Grande Paulista, with a burial scheduled for a later date. Germano’s career was expansive, spanning over three decades in which he showcased his talent both on stage and as a voice actor. In addition to his work on animated series, he appeared in theatrical productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, and Fiddler on the Roof, among others.

Director Matheus Marchetti, who collaborated with Germano on 2025’s Labyrinth of Lost Boys, described their partnership as one that felt like it would last forever. Marchetti praised Germano as a father figure on set, highlighting his immense talent and generosity. Fellow actor Miguel Falabella also paid tribute to Germano, remembering him as an impeccable professional and a dear friend.

Tony Germano’s legacy as a talented and beloved actor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. His contributions to the world of entertainment, both on stage and on screen, will always be remembered fondly.
