When is Stranger Things season 5 released on Netflix?

For those of us in the UK, you can catch Stranger Things season 5 on Netflix starting at 1am on Thursday, November 27th. Unfortunately, the earlier trailers and posters promoting a release on November 26th are referring to the North American release, scheduled for 5pm PT on the west coast and 8pm ET on the east coast.

As for the number of episodes in season 5, there will be a total of eight. The first half will be available to stream starting on November 26th or 27th, depending on your location. Three more episodes will be released on Christmas Day, with the grand finale dropping on New Year’s Eve.
