2025 Continental Classic Field: Complete Wrestler List in Blue League, Gold League

The highly anticipated 2025 Continental Classic has finally arrived! Last night, on Monday, we got to know the 12 talented wrestlers who will be competing in this year’s tournament, kicking off on the Thanksgiving Eve AEW Dynamite airing this Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TBS and HBO Max from Nashville, Tennessee.

Let’s jump right in and meet the awesome lineup of wrestlers for the 2025 Continental Classic:
In the Blue League, we have Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Konosuke Takeshita, Roderick Strong, Máscara Dorada, and Orange Cassidy.
In the Gold League, the competitors include Kazuchika Okada, Speedball Bailey, Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, PAC, and Darby Allin.

The Continental Classic is AEW’s annual premier tournament featuring two round-robin style leagues with six wrestlers each. Every competitor will face off in five matches against the others in their league, aiming to earn the most points in their group. This year marks the third edition of the Continental Classic, with the tournament first debuting in 2023.

Matches in the Continental Classic follow specific rules, including a 20-minute time limit, no ringside interference, and strict penalties for any outside interruptions. Points are awarded based on match outcomes, with winners getting 3 points, losers receiving 0 points, and draws earning 1 point. The semifinals and finals of the tournament will be held at AEW Worlds End in Chicago, Illinois on December 27, where the new AEW Continental Champion will be crowned.

This year, we have seven wrestlers making their first appearance in the Continental Classic, alongside familiar faces like Jon Moxley, Darby Allin, and reigning champion Kazuchika Okada. Claudio Castagnoli is notably participating in his third straight Continental Classic tournament, showcasing his dedication to the competition.
