Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks Reunite at AEW Full Gear Event
Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks were back together for an epic reunion at AEW Full Gear. The Bucks had a tough decision to make in this match – stick with their friend Omega or go for the $1 million prize? Considering their recent financial struggles as the “Broke Bucks,” the money was definitely tempting.
In a surprising turn of events, the Young Bucks emerged victorious. But, just as they were about to leave with their duffels and Don Callis, they rushed back to the ring to save Omega. The Don Callis Family was attacking the good guys, but the Bucks stepped in with a couple of Superkicks. After the chaos settled, they extended their hands to Omega, who initially gave them a high-five before eventually embracing them.
It had been a while since The Elite had fought on the same side. Omega had taken time off to recover, and when he returned, things were different. Okada and Jack Perry had joined the group, and they were now against the establishment.
The Bucks had been considering a face turn for a while, and as Matt Jackson shared, their characters had gone through a significant change over the past year. From powerful villains to broke outcasts, the transformation had been quite a journey. But despite their initial thoughts of turning face when they returned in April, they found themselves continuing their heel run for an extended period.
The evolution of their characters and the storyline has been a proud moment for them, and they’re excited to see where it leads. Stay tuned for more AEW updates on VICE!
