Mark Wahlberg in ‘The Family Plan 2’ Sequel: A Dumb-Fun Review for Apple TV

Can’t make it to London and Paris for the holidays? Feeling a little down about missing out on the festive decorations and cheer? No worries, The Family Plan 2 is here to transport you to Europe without leaving your couch. In this sequel to the 2023 hit film, former assassin turned family man Dan Morgan (played by Mark Wahlberg) takes his family on a vacation to Europe. But as fans of the first movie already know, things are bound to go awry, and Dan’s violent past is likely to come back to haunt him once again.

One major change in this sequel is that Dan’s family is now fully aware of his dark history, and surprisingly, they seem to be quite amused by it. His wife Jessica, played by Michelle Monaghan, even finds his skills kind of charming. She can’t contain her excitement when he scales a building to surprise her in their hotel room on a date night—although why he didn’t just take the elevator remains a mystery.
