AKQA NZ AU Wins Grand Clio Award for Netflix ‘Body Swap’ at 2025 Clio Entertainment Awards

AKQA New Zealand + Australia + São Paulo recently won six Clio Entertainment Awards for their work on Netflix’s ‘Body Swap,’ with the highlight being the Grand Clio for Digital, Mobile & Social Media. This award recognizes their innovative and engaging storytelling approach.

The ‘Body Swap’ campaign, created by AKQA teams across different regions, also won the Clio Entertainment x Snapchat AR Specialty Award for its creative use of Augmented Reality on social media and digital platforms. Snap’s Senior Director of Marketing for the Americas, Alexandria Sumner, presented the award.

In addition to these accolades, the campaign received a Gold in Innovation, a Silver in Fan Engagement – Digital & Mobile, and two Bronze awards in other categories. The 2025 Clio Entertainment Awards ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, hosted by comedian Rachel Bloom.

The competition, which has been running since 1971, celebrates outstanding work in entertainment marketing. The winners in various categories included entries from television, streaming, theatrical releases, home entertainment, games, and live entertainment. Some of the big winners included Netflix for Network of the Year, Activision for Game Publisher of the Year, and Warner Bros. Pictures for Studio of the Year.

Jim Frederick was honored with the 2025 Clio Entertainment Impact Award for his significant contributions to motion picture marketing. The event was sponsored by Snapchat and Netflix, with additional support from various partners in the industry.
