The Lost Green Lantern HBO Max TV Series Before DC Studios’ Lanterns
r, creative differences with HBO ultimately led to the project being scrapped. Despite the setback, Guggenheim remains proud of the work that was done on the series and the vision they had for it.
It’s a shame that we’ll never get to see the Green Lantern series that was originally planned, but fans can look forward to Lanterns, the upcoming DC Studios production that promises to bring Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, and other members of the Green Lantern Corps to the small screen in 2026. It may not be the same as the series that almost was, but it’s sure to be an exciting addition to the DC Universe.
