NWSL Stars Compete in Third NWSL Skills Challenge Sponsored by CarMax

Exciting news for soccer fans! The National Women’s Soccer League has just announced the details for the 2025 NWSL Skills Challenge, presented by CarMax. This fun event is part of the league’s celebration of the 2025 NWSL Championship, presented by Google Pixel. The Skills Challenge will take place at the Spartan Soccer Complex at San Jose State University on Friday, November 21, starting at 5 p.m. PT.

What can you expect at the Skills Challenge? Two teams made up of NWSL stars will compete in various skills contests like Relay Rumble, Gauntlet, and the Crossbar Challenge. The best part? You can catch all the action as the event will be nationally broadcast on the CBS Television Network and streamed on Paramount+ on Saturday, November 29, at 10:30 a.m. PT / 1:30 p.m. ET.

Not only will the winning team earn serious bragging rights, but they will also receive a $30,000 prize courtesy of CarMax to split among the players. How cool is that?

With athletes like Riley Tiernan, Carson Pickett, and Brianna Pinto participating, you know it’s going to be a thrilling competition. Keep an eye out for the full rosters for each team, which will be announced soon. Plus, Duda Pavão will be the in-venue host for this year’s event.
