Nielsen Report: Prime Video Broncos vs. Raiders Thursday Night Football Game Ranked Top 5

The recent Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders game on Prime Video may not have been the most exciting match, but it managed to snag the spot as the fifth most-watched TV program across U.S. households for the week ending on November 9, as per Nielsen’s latest data.

A total of 13.9 million viewers tuned in from nearly 8.2 million households to watch the Broncos win 10-7 over the Raiders, showing an increase from the 12.23 million viewers who live-streamed the Baltimore Ravens defeating the Miami Dolphins 28-6 on October 30.

This rise in viewership put an end to a three-week decline for Prime Video’s exclusive airing of “Thursday Night Football.” The NFL, alongside college football, basketball, and the NBA, played a significant role in boosting TV viewership during the week of November 9, securing nine out of the top 10 telecasts across broadcast, cable, and live streaming platforms.

The NFL dominated the top 10 slots, appearing on six different networks—Fox, NBC, CBS, Prime Video, ABC, and ESPN. Meanwhile, college football claimed 11 of the top 25 spots, with matchups like LSU vs. Alabama, Indiana vs. Penn St., and many others drawing in millions of viewers.

Adding to the mix, men’s college basketball and the NBA made their mark on the top 25 list as well, with games like Arkansas vs. Michigan State and Lakers vs. Spurs capturing audience attention.
