Filming Locations of Pluribus: Revealed

Pluribus, the hit TV show, took viewers on a journey from the deserts of New Mexico to the picturesque landscapes of Spain. The production team went all out, constructing an entire cul-de-sac in Albuquerque to create the perfect setting for the show. By doing so, they were able to pull off impressive night shoots, stunts, and visual effects against the backdrop of the stunning Sandia Mountains.

In addition to New Mexico, Pluribus also ventured to the Canary Islands and northern Spain to capture the show’s expansive, global feel. These locations provided the perfect backdrop without relying too heavily on CGI. The first season, consisting of nine episodes, premiered on Apple TV on November 7, 2025, with new episodes dropping every Friday.

Led by Rhea Seehorn, the show reunited creator Vince Gilligan with his trusted New Mexico crew and added European flair through the Spanish filming locations. Albuquerque served as the primary filming location, offering experienced crews and predictable weather conditions. The production employed over 500 crew members, more than 100 principal actors, and 800 background performers in and around the city.

The Canary Islands and northern Spain offered unique landscapes that added depth and variety to the show. These locations doubled for different countries on screen, contributing to Pluribus’s international vibe. The show’s creators spared no expense in ensuring that every scene felt authentic and true to the story they wanted to tell.
