‘South Park’ delays episode with no explanation
a week, airing three weeks after the previous episode. In that case, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone took the blame for the delay, saying, “Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done. This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!”
After confirming that delay, Comedy Central released a schedule for the remaining episodes set to air in 2025. Wednesday, Oct. 29 was listed as an air date. Fans of the animated adult series were left confused when Season 28 premiered earlier this month with no mention of a season finale for Season 27. The finale “Conflict of Interest” aired on Sept. 24 with the Oct. 15 episode serving as the Season 28 premiere. The confusion was attributed to an oversight by creators and the network as the plan had always been to split the seasons at that point, but it was never publicly announced.
For now, the next episode of “South Park” will air Friday, Oct. 31 at 10 p.m. EST on Comedy Central. Stay tuned for more hilarity and satire from this iconic animated series!
