Paramount+ Announces US & Canada Premiere Date for Psychological Thriller “Little Disasters”

Paramount+ has officially announced the premiere date for the upcoming psychological thriller series Little Disasters in the US and Canada. Based on the novel by Sarah Vaughan, the show follows the lasting friendship of four women: Jess, Liz, Charlotte, and Mel. They first connected as expectant mothers, but as their lives unfolded, they found support and camaraderie in each other.

The story takes a dark turn when Jess, the seemingly perfect stay-at-home mom, brings her baby to the hospital with a mysterious head injury. Liz, who works in the ER, faces a difficult choice: should she involve social services? This decision sets off a chain of events that puts their families and friendship at risk, testing the bonds they’ve built over the years.

The series will premiere with all six episodes available to stream on Thursday, December 11, exclusively on Paramount+. The talented cast includes Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn, Emily Taaffe, JJ Feild, Ben Bailey Smith, Patrick Baladi, and Stephen Campbell Moore. Directed by Eva Sigurðardóttir and written by Ruth Fowler and Amanda Duke, Little Disasters promises a gripping and intense viewing experience.

Produced by Roughcut Television in collaboration with Fremantle, the show is led by executive producers Ash Atalla, Alex Smith, and Marianna Abbotts, alongside Sarah Vaughan herself. Simon Judd takes the executive producer role for Fremantle, with Myf Hopkins handling production duties.
