Michael Hsu Rosen Cast in Second Season of Apple TV Drama ‘Presumed Innocent’
Michael Hsu Rosen, known for his roles in “Pretty Smart” and “Tiny Pretty Things,” has been cast in a major recurring role for the upcoming second season of Apple TV’s legal thriller, “Presumed Innocent.” While details about Hsu Rosen’s character and the plot of Season 2 are being kept secret, he joins a talented cast that includes Rachel Brosnahan, Matthew Rhys, Courtney B. Vance, Fiona Shaw, Jack Reynor, and John Magaro.
The anthology series, created by David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams, draws inspiration from Jo Murray’s debut legal thriller novel, “Dissection of a Murder.” The story centers on Leila, played by Brosnahan, an ambitious defense attorney handling a high-profile case. Vance plays Leila’s boss, Shaw plays a partner at the law firm, Rhys plays Leila’s husband who serves as the prosecutor, and Reynor portrays her client as the defendant.
Season 1 of “Presumed Innocent,” led by Jake Gyllenhaal, was the most-watched drama on Apple TV+ upon its release in 2024. The second season will be filmed in California, keeping fans eagerly anticipating whether it can replicate the success of the first season—a tough feat for any anthology series.
