Disney+ Subscription Price Increase on October 21, 2025: Ways to Save on Costs

Disney+ is making some changes! Starting on October 21, 2025, the prices for both standalone and bundle subscriptions will go up. The basic Disney+ subscription, which includes ads, will increase from $9.99 to $11.99 per month. If you prefer the ad-free “Premium” version, get ready to pay $18.99 instead of the current $15.99.

Annual subscriptions for Disney+ will also see a price increase, going up from $159.99 to $189.99. But here’s a tip: if you buy an annual plan before October 21, you can lock in the lower price for a whole year.

Currently, Disney doesn’t offer annual subscriptions for bundles that include Hulu and ESPN. However, they are offering a 15% discount on the ESPN Unlimited bundle for new users until January 2026, and a 22% discount on the Disney+ + Hulu + ESPN Unlimited bundle. Despite these discounts, the monthly fees for these bundles will still increase on October 21.

To avoid paying more, both current and new Disney+ subscribers should consider getting an annual subscription before the deadline. Just keep in mind that this only applies to the standalone Disney+ service, as bundle plans with Hulu and ESPN currently do not have annual pricing options.
