What will happen to ‘Paradise’ post Hulu shutdown?

The hit political thriller “Paradise” on Hulu has some exciting news – it’s been renewed for a second season, set to premiere in 2026! But with Hulu now under Disney’s wing, fans may be wondering what the future holds for their favorite show.

Disney acquired full ownership of Hulu in July, solidifying its position in the streaming world. For now, you can still enjoy the standalone Hulu app, but it’s expected to be phased out in 2026. Not to worry though, because shows like “Paradise” will still be available on the integrated Disney+ and Hulu platform.

If you’re not keen on a bundle, don’t fret – you can continue to subscribe to Hulu or Disney+ separately. Disney+ users will soon notice a Hulu tab popping up, alongside a “For You” tab that offers recommendations from both Disney+ and Hulu. The goal is to make it easy for users to navigate the integrated app and find what they love.

According to Disney’s Senior Vice President of Product Management, Jason Wong, the integration is designed to showcase the vast catalog of content available and help users discover new favorites. The new Disney+ and Hulu combo aims to provide a seamless experience for fans of both platforms.

Disney CEO Bob Iger and CFO Hugh Johnston have expressed that the integrated Disney+ and Hulu app will offer users “tremendous choice, convenience, quality, and enhanced personalization” – sounds promising, right?

Currently, the Disney+ and Hulu bundle is priced at $10.99 a month. For an ad-free experience with the option to download content for offline viewing, the premium version costs $19.99 a month.

Exciting changes are on the horizon for Hulu fans, as the streaming landscape continues to evolve. Get ready to embark on this new streaming adventure with Disney and Hulu!
