Apple TV and Peacock Streaming Bundle Deal: Everything You Need to Know
Apple and NBCUniversal are teaming up to offer a new streaming bundle that aims to boost subscriptions for both companies. The “Apple TV and Peacock Bundle” will be available starting on Monday, Oct. 20, just in time for the NBA season tipoff on NBC and Peacock.
For $14.99 a month, users can get access to the Apple TV and Peacock Premium tier, or for $19.99 a month, they can opt for the Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus bundle. This deal represents a discount of over 30% compared to purchasing each service separately. Currently, Apple TV costs $12.99 per month, while Peacock Premium and Premium Plus are $10.99 and $16.99 per month, respectively.
Apple is sweetening the deal by offering select Apple One subscribers a 35% discount on Peacock Premium Plus, which is the first time Apple One subscribers have access to a perk outside of the Apple ecosystem. Apple One typically includes Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+ storage.
In addition to the cost savings, both Apple TV and Peacock will provide a curated selection of shows from each other’s platforms. This will allow users to sample content and potentially entice them to subscribe. Apple TV users can look forward to up to three episodes of shows like Bel-Air, Twisted Metal, and Happy’s Place, while Peacock users can enjoy selected Apple TV programming as well. This cross-platform collaboration will give viewers more options and access to a variety of content.
