Apple TV+ Rebrands for Fresh and Vibrant Image
Apple TV+ is making a change and dropping the plus sign from its name. Moving forward, it will simply be known as Apple TV. This rebranding effort aims to create a more cohesive identity for the streaming service, which shares its name with the smart TV device and app. The announcement was made quietly by the tech giant in a press release unveiling the debut of the successful “F1: The Movie,” stating, “Apple TV+ is now simply Apple TV, with a vibrant, new identity.”
Since its launch in November 2019, Apple TV+ has produced a number of hit original shows featuring top-tier talent like “The Morning Show,” “Your Friends and Neighbors,” “Ted Lasso,” and “Severance.” The streaming platform has been in competition with industry giants like HBO, Disney, Netflix, and Amazon. This name change marks the first for Apple TV+, distinguishing it from its competitors who have gone through multiple rebranding efforts over the years.
With this new name, Apple TV, the streaming service, app, and device now all share the same identity. This change reflects the evolution of the platform and its commitment to providing engaging and diverse content to audiences.
