Bill Belichick’s Comments on UNC Football Documentary on Hulu

UNC football fans, get ready for some updates straight from the source! During a recent press conference, UNC football coach Bill Belichick shared some insights on the status of a documentary about the Tar Heels. According to Belichick, the documentary is “still a work in progress.” He mentioned that there are some logistics to iron out, so there’s no major update just yet—but rest assured, something is in the works.

Reports surfaced on October 7 suggesting that the show might not happen after all. Initially announced back in August, the documentary was set to follow the Tar Heels’ 2025 season on Hulu. However, with a rocky 2-3 start to the season, including some tough losses, plans may have shifted. This isn’t the first time a behind-the-scenes project involving the Tar Heels has hit a roadblock. An earlier collaboration with HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series was also scrapped earlier in the summer.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the documentary, UNC is gearing up to face Cal on October 17 in their ACC road opener. With a record of 2-3, the Tar Heels are looking to turn things around on the field. Stay tuned for more updates as the season unfolds!
