Kate Middleton’s Viral Moment: Awkward Interview Clip

Kate Middleton is back in the spotlight, and this time it’s all thanks to a throwback video that’s gone viral. A clip from the 2010 engagement interview of the Prince and Princess of Wales has resurfaced, gaining over 2.5 million views and nearly 500K likes on TikTok in less than a week.

In the clip, Princess Catherine is asked if she had a poster of Prince William on her university dorm room wall. Before she can answer, William playfully interjects, claiming there were multiple posters of him on her wall. Catherine quickly responds with a touch of sass, saying, “He wishes. No, I had the Levi’s guy on my wall. Not a picture of William.”

Her sense of humor is clearly still intact. Just this month, Princess Catherine made her first official visit to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire as the new Royal Honorary Air Commodore. During a chat with children near the base, she joked about their fancy outfits, saying, “Where is my dress? If I had known…,” as reported by Vanity Fair.

And the fun continues. During the French state visit in July, Princess Catherine shared a playful moment at Windsor Castle with French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron. Standing in front of a portrait of young King Louis XIV, she quipped, “I should know,” highlighting her background in Art History and the fact that her youngest son is named Prince Louis.

Whether it’s a viral moment from the past or a recent playful interaction, it’s clear that Princess Catherine’s charm and wit are timeless. Want to stay up to date with all the latest royal news? Be sure to sign up for updates.
