Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne ‘Coming Home’ to Stream on Peacock Canada

Fans of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne can look forward to an exclusive documentary, “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home,” coming to Peacock soon. The NBCUniversal-owned streaming service has secured the U.S. rights to this heartfelt film, set to debut on October 13.

The documentary follows the iconic couple as they prepare to leave the U.S. and head back to the UK, capturing the emotional journey of their return home. Viewers will also get a glimpse of their children, Jack and Kelly, as they join their parents in this major life change.

Produced by UK label Expectation in partnership with JOKS Productions, the film showcases Ozzy’s final farewell gig, “Back To The Beginning,” as he grapples with health challenges to take the stage. The concert features an epic lineup including the original members of Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Guns N’ Roses.

Although Ozzy Osbourne passed away in July at the age of 76, his legacy lives on through this documentary. Known as the “Prince of Darkness,” he made his mark in the music industry with Black Sabbath and a successful solo career, all while balancing the demands of a rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle and family life in the public eye.

Originally planned as a series, the film was reimagined as a single feature titled “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” for its international release. Meanwhile, Paramount+ also has a documentary on Ozzy titled “Ozzy: No Escape From Now,” providing a comprehensive look at the iconic rocker’s life.

International distribution for “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” is handled by Banijay Rights, which brokered the U.S. deal with Peacock. With its upcoming debut at MIPCOM, one of the biggest TV sales markets, the film is set to make a splash and garner more global attention.

For fans of the Osbournes and music enthusiasts alike, this documentary promises a touching and reflective look at one of the world’s most famous families. Stay tuned as Peacock brings this captivating story to audiences starting October 13.
