Emmys 2025 Early Winners: Severance, The Penguin, The Studio

The 2025 Emmys brought some exciting wins for popular streaming shows. Bryan Cranston took home the award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in The Studio on Apple TV+, beating out some tough competition. And Julianne Nicholson won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in Hacks on HBO Max. On the drama side, Shawn Hatosy won the Outstanding Guest Actor award for his role in The Pitt on HBO, while Merritt Wever took home the prize for Outstanding Guest Actress for her work in Severance on Apple TV+.

In the animation category, Arcane on Netflix was the winner for Outstanding Animated Program. And Rebel Ridge on Netflix scooped the award for Outstanding TV Movie. It was a big night for Desi Lydic who won Outstanding Performer in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series for The Daily Show: Desi Lydic Foxsplains on YouTube.

RuPaul Charles won Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for RuPaul’s Drag Race on MTV, and Elizabeth Banks was named Outstanding Game Show Host for her work on Press Your Luck on ABC.
