Even though “Karma Chameleon” is undoubtedly a fan favorite, Boy George admitted, “People think that’s all I’ve ever done.” He shared that when the song was first chosen for the performance, he wasn’t thrilled about it. I quite fancy going to South Korea.'” Filming in Seoul turned out to be an incredible experience that he thoroughly enjoyed. “It was actually the adventure of going there in the end. I just loved it,” he affirmed.

“Karma Chameleon” was released as part of Culture Club’s 1983 album “Colour by Numbers” and went on to top the charts in over a dozen countries, including the U.S. and U.K. One year after its release, Culture Club was honored with the Best New Artist award at the Grammy Awards.
