Amaya and Bryan from Love Island USA Confirm Breakup in Official Statements

Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, who won Season 7 of Love Island USA earlier this summer, have decided to end their relationship. In statements shared on August 27, the couple announced that they are “no longer together.” Amaya took to her Instagram Story to share the news, expressing that after leaving the villa, it became clear that their paths were heading in different directions. She emphasized that relationships are a team effort and wished Bryan the best moving forward, signing off with her Love Island nickname, “Amaya Papaya.”

Shortly after Amaya’s announcement, Bryan also issued a statement on his Instagram Story, confirming the breakup and expressing gratitude for the time they spent together. He acknowledged that they were on different paths and wished Amaya nothing but the best for the future.

During the Love Island USA Season 7 reunion on August 25, Amaya and Bryan shared that they were trying to make their long-distance relationship work, with Bryan residing in Boston and Amaya traveling from New York City to meet his family and friends. The couple addressed cheating allegations that had surrounded them since the finale, with Bryan admitting to a “lapse in judgement” at a hosting gig and discussing the issue with Amaya.

Known as Bramaya by fans, the couple quickly became favorites, with America ultimately voting them as the winners of Season 7. Following their victory, Amaya and Bryan made several appearances together on shows like TODAY, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Watch What Happens Live.

Despite their breakup, Amaya and Bryan’s journey on Love Island USA Season 7 left a lasting impact on fans who supported their relationship throughout the show.
