Reports suggest that Apple TV+ is in the running to secure the rights for MLB Sunday Night Baseball and playoff games, competing against Peacock. Apple currently pays $85 million per year for exclusive Friday doubleheaders. If Apple does manage to land more MLB games, it’s not certain whether they would be bundled into the existing Apple TV+ subscription or offered as a separate sports add-on.
