DePaul Athletics Boosts TV and Streaming Reach for Fans Across the Country
DePaul Athletics is making big moves to bring Blue Demons fans closer to the action. Starting this season, you’ll have more ways than ever to catch your favorite teams in action. With broadcasts across six TV partners and a continued collaboration with SiriusXM, the coverage of DePaul athletics will be better than ever before.
Whether you’re a fan in Chicago, the Midwest, or anywhere in the country, you can now tune in to every home game for men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, and softball. This means more access and more excitement for you, no matter where you are cheering from.
DeWayne Peevy, DePaul’s Vice President and Director of Athletics, is thrilled about this new development, calling it a major leap in keeping fans connected to the teams they love. It’s not just about watching games; it’s about showcasing the talent and dedication of DePaul’s student-athletes on a national stage, all part of the university’s strategic plan to strengthen its ties with alumni, fans, and potential recruits.
In addition to this exciting news, the BIG EAST Conference has inked a deal with ESPN for a six-year digital media rights agreement. This means you can catch a minimum of 75 women’s basketball games and 200 Olympic Sports events annually on ESPN+. And don’t worry basketball fans, there will be at least 25 non-conference men’s basketball games to enjoy as well.
If you’re a Marquee Sports Network fan, you’re in luck. DePaul has extended its partnership with Marquee Sports Network for the third year running. This means select games will be aired live on Marquee throughout the school year, with added digital content available on the network and the Marquee Sports app. Plus, there’s The Blue Demon Room Podcast for even more insider content.
And for all you radio lovers, DePaul men’s basketball radio broadcasts with Zach Zaidman and Dave Corzine will be exclusively available on Sirius XM and the DePaul Blue Demons app this season. Exciting times lie ahead for fans of DePaul Athletics, so mark your calendars and get ready to cheer on the Blue Demons!
