South Park Pulled From Paramount+ Outside US Due to Streaming Rights Dispute
“South Park” fans outside of the US were disappointed to find that the show had been pulled from Paramount+ due to an expired international streaming license. This licensing issue stemmed from a dispute between Paramount and the show’s creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
Many international fans took to social media to express their frustration about the show’s sudden disappearance from the platform. A Paramount+ representative explained to a Reddit user that the series had to be removed because the streaming rights had expired.
However, there is hope for fans as negotiations are ongoing to secure a new deal that would allow “South Park” to return to Paramount+. In the meantime, fans can still access “South Park” specials that were created specifically for the platform.
Stay tuned for updates on when the beloved animated series will be back on Paramount+ for international viewers to enjoy!
