Lake Conference Schools Launching Streaming Network for Sports and Fine Arts

Exciting news for high school sports and fine arts fans – the Lake Conference Network is gearing up to launch on August 15th! Covering all the athletic competitions and performances from eight schools in the Lake Conference, including Buffalo, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, St. Michael-Albertville, and Wayzata, this online platform is set to be the first of its kind in Minnesota.

Get ready to catch all the action, from ninth grade to varsity levels, in 16 different sports, including play-by-play announcers for varsity events and weekly highlight shows during each season. The network will also feature non-conference home games hosted by Lake Conference schools, so you won’t miss a beat.

Excitingly, in addition to sports coverage, the network will also live stream fine arts and music performances from member schools’ auditoriums, offering a well-rounded look at the talent in the conference.

Partnering with LiveBarn Minnesota, a digital broadcast company known for livestreaming youth and amateur sports, the Lake Conference Network is committed to showcasing the best of the best. And the best part? Students from the conference’s schools will have opportunities to get involved in announcing, production, and other multimedia roles, thanks to collaborations with each school’s media program.

Stay tuned for more details, including subscription information, as we get closer to the August launch date. And for any media inquiries, reach out to Matt Harrington, the director of broadcast and content at LiveBarn Minnesota, at [email protected] or 215-669-2317.

It’s an exciting time for the Lake Conference schools and their communities, so mark your calendars and get ready to support local talent in a whole new way!
